Whether you're just getting started or looking to deepen your skills, the pass is your invitation to spend the summer doing something you love — camera in hand, surrounded by a community of people who feel the same way.

Getting started with your Summer Photo Pass is simple. Here's what to expect after your purchase:

1. Purchase your 2026 Summer Photo Pass Right here on this page

2. Receive your unique Pass code Within 48 hours we'll email you a unique Pass code — keep it handy, you'll use it all summer

3. Browse our class calendar Find a workshop or online class you'd like to join between June 1 and August 31

4. Add the class to your cart Proceed through checkout as you normally would

5. Enter your Pass code Type your code in the "Gift or Discount" field at checkout to apply your Summer Pass credit

6. Complete your registration And you're all set

7. Look out for your confirmation email Class details will be shared 2-3 days before your workshop

Summer has arrived! And so has our Summer Photo Pass

The BPW is excited to announce our first ever “Summer Photo Pass,” the perfect way for you to explore photography and enhance your skills. This class pass allows pass-holders to take any one-day workshop, or online class, between June 1 - Aug 31st, for one low price. During the Summer Photo Pass dates, you can register for any one-day workshop or online class at no charge. The pass gives you a chance to discover new photo topics, or revisit your favorites.

Interested in Night Photography, or our Photo Walks? With the Summer Photo Pass you can register for as many photo walks as you like. Want to learn more about composition or camera lenses? Register for any of our online class, all summer long!

A Few Things to Keep in Mind

We want your summer experience with the BPW to be as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Please take a moment to read through the details below — it'll save you time and help you get the most out of your pass.

Enrollment Limit: 4 Pending Workshops at a Time

To keep things fair for everyone, pass holders can be enrolled in up to 4 upcoming workshops at once. A "pending" workshop is any class you've signed up for but haven't yet attended. Once you've taken a class it's no longer pending, freeing you up to register for another. This keeps our classes accessible for all pass holders and ensures no one locks up spots they may not use.

Classes Fill Up — Register Early

Our summer workshops are popular and fill quickly. Having a pass doesn't guarantee a spot in any particular class, so we encourage you to register as soon as you know you'd like to attend. This is especially true for our most popular offerings.

Pass Dates Are June 1 - August 31

Your pass is valid for any one-day workshop or online class taking place within those dates. It cannot be applied to classes scheduled outside of this window, even if that class was fully booked during the summer season.

No-Show Policy:

We understand that life happens and sometimes you can't make a class. With the popularity of the Summer Photo Pass and small class size, we ask that you be considerate about missing workshops.
To ensure fair access, three no-shows or class cancellations are permitted. After three cancellations you’ll need to manually enroll in workshops via email. See FAQs (below) for further details.

Recently Purchased a Workshop That Falls Within Pass Dates?

No problem — we've got you covered. If you purchased a workshop or online class between June 1 and August 31 before buying your pass, we're happy to refund that purchase. Here's how:
- Purchase your Summer Photo Pass.
- Email us at info@bostonphotographyworkshops.com with the order numbers from your previously purchased workshop(s) and your new pass order
- We'll take care of the rest

What Happens if a Workshop is Canceled?

If a class is canceled due to weather or other circumstances, we'll do our best to transfer pass holders into the next available session of that workshop. If the same workshop isn't offered again within the pass dates or is fully booked, we'll issue you a unique code to take that class at no cost — valid through the end of the calendar year.
Please note that workshops that sell out but are not canceled are not eligible for this code.

The BPW Summer Photo Pass may be used for any one-day workshop or online class taking place between June 1 and August 31, 2026.
Absolutely! Your pass allows you to take any eligible workshop or online class as many times as you'd like — as long as it falls within the pass dates. A great way to practice and build confidence.
The Summer Photo Pass is personal to the purchaser and cannot be transferred or shared with others.
The Summer Photo Pass applies to one-day workshops and online classes only. It cannot be used toward travel workshops or private lessons.
Nope! As long as classes fall within the pass dates, you're welcome to take as many as you'd like. The only limit is that you may have up to 4 pending enrollments at one time — see "A Few Things to Keep in Mind" above for details.
We typically offer multiple sessions of our most popular classes throughout the summer, so we encourage you to check back on the calendar regularly for new dates. Unfortunately we can't guarantee that every class will have additional availability before the pass dates end, so we recommend registering early whenever possible.
Summer Photo Passes may be refunded within 72 hours of purchase. After that window has passed we're unable to issue refunds, so please make sure the pass is right for you before completing your purchase. Questions? Email us at info@bostonphotographyworkshops.com before buying.
Yes! If you've recently purchased a workshop that falls between June 1 and August 31, we're happy to refund that class when you purchase your Summer Photo Pass. Here's how:
- Purchase your Summer Photo Pass
- Email us at info@bostonphotographyworkshops.com with the order numbers for both your pass and your previously purchased workshop(s)
- We'll take care of the rest
We completely understand — life happens! If you need to cancel, please email us as soon as possible so we can open the spot for another student. Pass holders are permitted up to 3 cancellations over the course of the summer. After 3 cancellations please see the next question below.
After 3 missed or canceled workshops, your pass will be placed on hold. From that point forward, enrollments will need to be handled manually via email rather than through the standard checkout process. After 4 missed or canceled workshops, your pass will be deactivated. Please note that no refund can be issued at this stage.
We really do understand that unexpected things come up — we just ask that pass holders be considerate of fellow students and our instructors when canceling, as our class sizes are small and every spot matters.
