Cape Cod in early fall is something special. The summer crowds have thinned, the light is golden, and the birds are abundant. Join the BPW for two days of guided bird and nature photography along some of the Cape’s most scenic and productive locations.
Day Trip: Provincetown - Cape Cod
Explore Cape Cods most colorful and happening city, on our Provincetown day trip! During the class we’ll spend much of the afternoon photographing the lively streets of P-town, the colorful murals, and all the nautical details you can handle.
Landscape Photography (Online)
Learn how to capture the destinations you love, whether you're shooting on a DSLR or your smartphone. In this online class, we'll cover timing, lighting, and simple composition choices that help your photos match the beauty of your memories. You'll leave with a clear, confident approach to any scenic location you travel to next.
Better Composition: Photo Walk
Take the skills from the classroom and start shooting in the real world. Whether it’s Golden Hour at the Boston Public Garden or capturing the sunset at Castle Island, BPW has you covered! While practicing your outdoor photography, you’ll learn techniques for difficult lighting conditions, all while developing your compositional skills.
Lunar Photography
Photograph the rising full moon over the Boston Harbor or city skyline with seasoned photographers by your side. In this outdoor meet-up, we’ll cover the basic settings you’ll need to capture the full moon rising before setting up the perfect shot. The moon rises quickly but with your instructor by your side, you’ll grab the perfect shot.

Walk Boston's streets and learn to frame its historic charm and modern skyline like a pro. In this outdoor photo walk, we'll cover the essentials of architectural photography before setting out to capture the city's best angles. With an instructor by your side, you'll leave with sharper composition skills and a shot of Boston at its best.
