Editing For Good: The Lightroom Lounge

A community editing session that supports Boston-Area charities

Editing For Good is a recurring Lightroom editing and organizing event where photographers come together to work on their images and give back to the Boston community.

Proceeds from this event are donated to Boston-area charities and organizations that support and strengthen our local community. Each lounge highlights a different cause, allowing our photography community to make a meaningful impact through shared creative time.

Proceeds from this event support their mission to provide essential items to children experiencing clothing insecurity in Greater Boston.

What to Expect:

After a brief welcome, the lounge opens into a relaxed, open workspace designed to help photographers make real progress on photo editing and organization. While photographers love capturing images, organizing them often gets pushed aside — this lounge creates intentional time to slow down, focus, and work through your photo library alongside fellow members of the BPW community.

This is not a formal class, but a collaborative session for photographers who are already comfortable using Lightroom or have taken our Lightroom classes. BPW instructors will be present for light guidance, thoughtful conversation, and friendly feedback, while the emphasis remains on working at your own pace and connecting with others.

Bring your laptop and your photos — we’ll provide snacks, drinks, and a welcoming studio atmosphere to keep things comfortable and productive.

Space is limited to 10 participants. Join us for an afternoon of editing with purpose, community connection, and creative momentum.
