The Franklin Park Zoo transforms into a dazzling wonderland of lanterns, glowing tunnels, and larger-than-life illuminated animals. This festive atmosphere is the perfect backdrop to practice low light photography in a fun, supportive setting.
What to Expect:
You’ll meet your instructor at the zoo and work side-by-side to capture the vibrant colors and magical displays. Together, we’ll cover the best camera settings for night shooting, how to steady your shots in low light, and creative ways to frame the glowing lanterns for truly stunning images. Students will have time to explore, practice, and ask questions as they photograph the event.

What to Bring:
Camera with manual mode settings (DSLR, mirrorless, or advanced point-and-shoot).
