Terms of Participation
By completing the registration and submitting your entry fee, you agree to the following terms of participation:
To adhere to all deadlines and submission times
Follow all framing guidelines set fourth by the gallery and the BPW
Allow the BPW to decide what submitted content is acceptable for the Student Showcase
Acknowledge the submission fee is non-refundable
Understand that all printing and framing is the responsibility of the submitter

The BPW is excited to announce the return of the student gallery showcase this September. The art of photography is an experience as well as a process. Originally, film photography involved not only the process of capturing the moment, but also developing a physical print, to allow for the photo to be appreciated as a work of art.
Nowadays digital photography is the dominant form of photography, allowing for creators to share their images almost instantly with the world. Although most edit the photograph to help it reach its full potential, most fall short of making their photo a print.
By hosting this gallery showcase, the BPW not only hopes to celebrate students’ work in print, but also open students up to the critical step of printing their photographs, so they can fully appreciate and preserve some of the work they’re most proud of.
