Black & White Photography
See the world in a new way
Through discussion, and real-world photo making, you’ll learn the essentials of black and white photography. This class combines indoor and outdoor elements to help students fully understand black and white as photography style.
After a helpful and fun slideshow, students will work side-by-side with a BPW instructor in an enjoyable photo-walk in the Boston downtown area. Along the way, you’ll learn how to visualize the scenes in terms of tonal values and contrast rather than color.
This in-person workshop pairs well with our online course, Lightroom Classic: Black & White editing.
