Required Preliminary Class
Prior to the trip we will hold a 65-minute workshop at our Boston studio, which will introduce students to the mechanics of Astrophotography. With limited time to instruct on-site in Maine, this preliminary class is intended to prepare students to the technical aspects before arriving in Maine. This preliminary class is required for all students unless cleared by the instructor. There will be two sessions available: Feb 22nd (7-8p) & Feb 28th (7-8p). You will be prompted to select your preliminary class date when you sign up for the astrophotography weekend.
For those who cannot attend either preliminary class date, you may schedule a private lesson at an additional charge of $125.00. This will be scheduled over email after you complete your purchase.
Terms and Conditions
All photography, including astrophotography, is subject to the whim of weather conditions. Since weather can be unpredictable we have learned not to adhere to weather reports until just hours before photographing. Our cancellation policy for special events differs from our regular classes, and requires more advanced notice for withdrawal or refunds.
A non-refundable deposit of $200 is required upon registering for the astrophotography weekend. Full tuition is due by Feb 17th, 2019 @ 10:00p EST.
The BPW will allow for cancellations by Feb 21st @ 10:00p EST with a 50% reimbursement of tuition, minus the non-refundable deposit.
Please note that we will have backup plans for weather related delays, which include: light-painting, coastal landscapes (day & night), and more.
Ready to join us and expand your astrophotography skills? Awesome - we're excited, too!
Once you click "REGISTER" you'll be prompted to fill out your contact info and an emergency contact info, confirm your previous BPW prerequisite classes, and select which preliminary astro class in our Boston studio you want to attend.
After you are registered for the class, the Bradley Inn will contact you directly to make your reservation. They are aware of our group, so if you have any questions you may contact them at (207) 677-2105.
